- Why does the radio station stream stop after a few minutes?
If a radio station uses an HTTP stream, our script may only play it continuously for 3-5 minutes before requiring a manual restart. To avoid this issue, it's recommended to use streams that utilize the HTTPS protocol. This problem does not occur in our mobile application.
- How is the radio station ranking determined?
The ranking is based on the number of listeners: the more listeners a station has, the higher it appears in the rankings. However, this is not permanent; the statistics are based on the last 7 days. If a station's listenership decreases, it will gradually move down in the rankings.
- How is the top songs list for a radio station compiled?
We track how many times each song is played on a radio station. The more frequently a song is played, the higher it ranks. Typically, recent hits are played more often, so this method reflects current popular tracks.
- Why do some radio stations lack playlists?
Not all radio stations provide metadata about the songs they play, and our parsers cannot retrieve this information if it's unavailable. Therefore, some stations have playlists while others do not. However, the majority of stations do include this information in their metadata.
